Choosing Your Pebble Tile Design

It seems as though one of the hardest parts of choosing your pebble tile design is the color. There are so many different ones that you can choose from that the decision making can start to get frustrating. When you start this project, it is best to have some sort of idea of the color that you want for your pebble tile.

Many choose to go with one solid color such as polished white or black pebble. If you are in to earth tones you may want to choose a color such as an earthy tan or maybe even a reddish color pebble. The colors that you choose will breathe new life into any room.

Another choice that you have to make is whether or not you want the traditional type of pebble tile or if maybe you would prefer a mosaic type of tile. Both of these are polished but the shapes are completely different. The pebble tile is more rounded, such as the pebble. The mosaic tile is more of a square shape with sharper edges.

When doing your research on the different colors and types of pebble tile styles, you will probably find that the mosaic style is generally used for the outdoors with the pebble type style is great for the kitchen, bath and shower whether it is being used for the floor or the wall really won't make a difference.

All of the pebbles are flat so walking on them will not bother your feet or cause an issue. To bring variety and creativity to your design, you may want to mix and match colors for a certain type of pattern. For example, you may want to use a black and gray together for a classy, manly type of look. Or, you may want to mix a tan and white together for your kitchen to brighten things up a bit.

Pebble tiles are very easy to work with so if you are putting these in the shower area, it is very simple to get them to look natural around the drain and fixtures. This goes for any room in your home. If you are doing the installation on your own, most of the pebble tiles come in sheets and simple snap together. This makes for putting them up in your home a snap.

If you love to decorate your home and make it look original, pebble tiles are definitely the way to go. Your home will become a conversation piece amongst your friends and family. They may even ask you how you did it and if you could help them do their own home and start a trend.

The most important thing here is research. There are many different companies that supply pebble tiles and have different colors and different shapes. Look into several of them before making your final decision since this is your home. You will be happy that you decided to go with a pebble tile design on your home.
